Between 2019 and 2024, he worked as a political and communications advisor in the office of the Secretary of State Assistant to the Prime Minister and in the office of the Secretary of State for European Affairs. He worked directly on coordinating government communications and crisis management, particularly during the Covid-19 pandemic. In these roles, in addition to providing strategic and political advice to the government coordination team, he contributed to the development of social media and digital communications. He also collaborated directly on institutional relations between the government and European institutions, particularly during the Portuguese Presidency of the European Union.
